Bed & breakfast in the heart of the country, Wentworth House welcomes you.
At Wentworth House we try to make our guests stay as enjoyable as possible. We have been in the guest house for 11 years and have lived in the area for over 30 years. Our local knowledge can help you make the most of your stay with us. Whether that is for some activity such as fishing, walking cycling or Art, or just visiting the many attractions.
“ A gem for chilling out” – one of the many reviews of Wentworth House. Once you have arrived at our B&B, you can relax, far from the maddening crowd, but on the doorstep of some great attractions. We offer more than a standard B&B, apart from being a historic building and being located central to some fabulous attractions, we have our own Art studio and Pottery that guests can make use of by arrangement.
The distinctive house (circa 1620, but much altered) is spacious with lots of character, particularly the hall and staircase, and has some historical significance. The individually designed bedrooms are all en-suite, have television, tea/coffee, complimentary toiletries and Internet access. Our large secure car park in surrounded by landscaped gardens, ideal for a picnic lunch. We have six en-suite rooms in a variety of configurations. Our ground floor room is suitable for guests with limited mobility (although not with a disabled toilet). It is also great for people with dogs. Dogs are also allowed in our twin room. Our highly rated breakfast menu uses local produce where possible.
